Artist's Comments
If you've ever been to downtown Ithaca, to a pedestrian strip mall called the Commons, you know the beauty of the place. The eclectic restaurants and bars, the two used book stores, the hot dog vendor, and the sculptures that line the walk are all part of the curious and colorful atmosphere of Ithaca, one of New York's most charming cities and the place I go to school. This is the face of the "painted lady", as I call her, I don't know the real name of the sculpture.
